Coach and Exhibitor Information
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to those of you who have been a part of The Journey Deepens Retreats in the past and encourage you to continue taking part in this valuable time of service to our Lord in the future. We also want to extend a warm welcome to those of you who are new. Below you will find our coach and exhibitor qualifications. We encourage you to register for our retreats, and we look forward to working with you.
Coaches are small group leaders who facilitate discussion and actively listen as participants work through what the Lord may be leading them to do. Coaches are seasoned missionaries who have served in a foreign land and have learned the language of that land for the purpose of working with the nationals. They are stringently vetted to maintain a high standard of quality established by the The Journey Deepens Team. Among other things, we are interested in their relationship with the Lord, their personal spiritual disciplines, foreign language acquisition and excellent active listening skills. The fee for the weekend includes a booth and meals for one person. Coaches attend a 5pm orientation/dinner meeting on Friday. The retreat formally begins at 7pm on Friday and goes through Saturday evening.
Exhibitors should note that this is a small retreat of not more than 40 participants who are highly interested in missions-related ministry and that recruitment of personnel for the service of the Lord is the reason to exhibit with us. It is expected that up to two people may represent an agency at the retreat. Exhibitors will receive contact information for all the participants at the end of the retreat.
Exhibitors should arrive Saturday morning to set up their booths at 10:30am and remain for lunch and interaction with retreat participants. Booths must be dismantled by 2:30pm. The fee for an exhibitor is for Saturday only and includes a booth and lunch for two people.
